We rented a very clean, modern and newly built cottage with 3 bedrooms by the water at a very reasonable rate. We had access to the recreation room, swimming pool, beach volleyball court, kayaks, canoes & paddle boats throughout our stay. It was a relaxing retreat for all of us.

The resort was fantastic! Our family had a great time. Cottages were well stocked with all the necessities you would need from the kitchen to the very comfortable bedrooms.

Pools were well maintained and clean, great main office with Kawartha Dairy ice cream. This is a superb location for a couples or family trip!

Great fun community with lots of activities and games to play. They have a ton of things included with your cottage rental. The water is gorgeous. It’s really easy to get to as well. I would highly suggest going here with friends and family. It was a great time.

Very nice cottage type resort. The fishing is great if you have kids. There are many activities such as pool, basketball court, beach, canoeing, fishing. Can’t do everything in one day.

As we were leaving our cottage last year, our kids were already begging to come back again this year! We loved the waterfront property we had. There are a number of new cottages this year compared to last and it looks like trees are being cleared for more cottages.

It was the first time they had slept in bunk beds. We intend to visit a different Great Blue Resort next year.

The rental suites are tidy modern and accommodating. The stunning beaches and diverse variety of wineries, restaurants and shopping which surround this beautiful Island make this Resort the full vacation experience. You must try it to believe it.

We visited here the past few summers, and have been very satisfied with our stay. Rice Lake is great for fishing and swimming or boating and jet-ski. Is a ton of fun and the resort is safe and kept clean and organized. The resort has been improving with a new gym and laundry room. Bring bug spray, and sunscreen, the Kawartha’s are beautiful but deadly with regards to insects.
